Apple Watch Put Gold Band For Beyonce

The Apple Watch can be expected to hold the reign in technology, but now wants cross over into the luxury watch market.

The Apple Watch, set to release on April 24,has been sighted to have a new set of luxury wrist bands, one of which is made of 18k-solid, double-alloyed gold. The 18k Apple Watch Edition with an 18k-gold link bracelet hasn't been featured on their website and isn't anywhere up for sale, but  they put a gold band on it for the one and only Beyonce.

She hasn't been the only one spotted wearing the new watch, fashion icons such as Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfiel have also been spotted. It isn't known if they actually had to pay for these watches, or they were given this watch as a present from Apple, but it most likely doesn't really matter either way. Spending 18,000 dollars is more like chump change for them.

Whether it’s Jason Statham wearing a rubber watch strap for Panerai, or Tim Cook in Palo Alto rocking a universal leather strap  on his Rolex, the Apple Watch is ready to take on  the luxury watch market and give competitors a run for its money. Which I previously mentioned and was adamant it would've never happened! But there is Apple marketing for you. It's seems Apple will market the Apple Watch with limited runs and exclusive bands, but especially on its most exclusive offering: The Watch Edition
